Just playing around with creating skin materials, created this using a few composite nodes and a translucent material. Going to use models from daz3d to operate our machines. only took 6 hours to render on gpu
Cool! It’s a shame though that after 6 hours it has so many fireflies. I did a suggestion to have the option in the render window to always save a image with the denoise on as well. Since it doesn’t impact the render time and saves you 6 hours
Yeah I did have the denoise option on, a quick despeckle in photoshop will fix it, this was just the raw render from keyshot. Still need to tweak the material too I think

Interested in your workflow going from Daz to KS. I’ve looked at doing that, been using mostly photomapped people from Renderpeople. But being able to pose them would be super helpful. Don’t need any animations, just posing them int he same you as you, as machine operators.
